Brumley NextGen Graduate Fellow Co-authors Essay on Diversity in U.S. Foreign Affairs Agencies

Gabriel Cortez, a candidate for a Master in Global Policy Studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, recently co-authored a timely essay on the challenge of promoting and maintaining workplace diversity in America’s principal foreign affairs agencies. Mr. Cortez, a Department of State Charles B. Rangel Fellow, was recently selected by the Strauss Center as a 2020 Brumley NextGen Graduate Fellow and assigned to the Intelligence Studies Project for the coming academic year.
