Students interested in applying for U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) internships and full-time positions may be interested in this recent article by Lindy Kyzer of Government Executive. The article describes hiring challenges experienced by the 17 IC agencies, who often have their own standards and security clearance processes. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is looking at ways to consolidate the process to create career paths throughout the IC and to allow for mobility between the IC and the private sector.
